The stock work, one tap at a time
Mobile Inventory is built around the three moments that actually happen: a delivery arrives, the back room needs a count, and something runs low. Everything else exists to keep those three honest.
The web trial does the desk work — items, minimums, receiving, a counted quantity, search and export, and it records stock to the location you choose when the shop has more than one. Barcode scanning and blind counts with variance review are in the Android app.
Receive a delivery in seconds
Scan a barcode or search the item, type the quantity, and choose the location (when the shop has more than one). The delivery becomes an entry in the ledger, not a number typed over an old one. Repeat scans within two seconds are ignored, so a double read cannot add twice.

Count the back room blind
A blind count hides the expected quantity until you have entered what you see. Uncounted is not zero: close the app mid-count and the draft resumes at the next uncounted item. If stock changed while you counted, the review shows both the baseline and the variance before you submit.

Reorder from a minimum, not a feeling
Set a minimum per item. When on-hand reaches it, the item appears on the reorder list with a suggested quantity. The Android app suggests a top-up from your target cover; the web shows every item at or below its minimum. Minimums are per shop, not per category, because a café and a hardware shop do not share thresholds.

Writes that survive a dead signal
The phone keeps an append-only outbox. A movement gets a client-generated id, so replaying the queue after a reconnect cannot duplicate it. The server accepts the batch idempotently and reports rejected rows instead of silently dropping them.
One ledger, not a number you hope is right
Stock is derived from movements: opening, receive, sale, adjust, count, transfer, waste, return. Nothing rewrites history. You can export the items, stock, movements, counts and members as JSON at any time, including after a trial ends.
Web and phone, the same shop
Sign up on the web and add items, set minimums, receive stock, record a counted quantity, search and see what to reorder. The Android app signs in to the same shop for scanning and working offline. There is no separate “web edition” with different data.

Import what you already have
Paste a CSV with at least name and sku. The check step lists every row it cannot read with its line number before anything is written. Re-importing the same file updates items and never adds opening stock twice.
Roles that match a small team
Owners and managers change items and stock; staff can scan, receive and count without editing prices or members. Every invite and role change is recorded in the audit log, and removing a member does not rewrite what they did.
