Migration · Stocky shut down 31 August 2026
Stocky is gone. Keep the stock history that matters.
Shopify moved inventory into its admin and POS, and the separate Stocky app stopped working on 31 August 2026. If you are choosing a replacement, here is exactly what Mobile Inventory can and cannot take.
What can move
- Items: name, SKU, barcode, unit, cost and sale price, minimum stock.
- Opening quantities per location, recorded as one opening movement so the history starts clean.
- Counts after the import, with variance kept as their own movements.
What cannot move
- Supplier records and purchase-order history. Stocky did not provide a complete export of these before shutdown; we will not pretend to import what does not exist.
- Stocky's demand-forecast history. Mobile Inventory does not forecast yet.
- Shopify sales history. Mobile Inventory is not a Shopify integration; it is the stock ledger.
How to switch
- Export your items from Shopify admin (Products → Export) as CSV.
- Import the CSV into Mobile Inventory. The dry-run lists every row it cannot read, with the line number.
- Set the opening quantity per location with one count.
- Re-add your suppliers by name and lead time; there are usually fewer than ten.
The importer is included on both plans (Starter and Pro). If you are stuck on a specific export format, email support@mobileinventory.org and we will look at the file with you.
